VENTUS SAS has released the Metaventus mobile app on the App Store, on the very day its platform opened. It brings together business telephony and the multichannel inbox: a missed call, an email, a WhatsApp conversation all arrive in the same place, on the phone of the person concerned.
A company with a phone system and a multichannel support desk runs into the same difficulty the moment someone leaves their desk: the phone system is on the computer, customer conversations are elsewhere, and the personal phone becomes the fallback. Calls then go out from a private number, and replies to customers wait until the return to the office.
The Metaventus app addresses precisely that moment. It gives access to the company's business number — outgoing calls display that number, never the personal one — along with the keypad, the call log and the CRM contacts. An incoming call rings on the phone like any other, and its record joins the customer's file in the platform.
The Discussions tab opens the Metaventus inbox, the one that gathers the support channels: email, website chat, forms, calls and WhatsApp — Facebook Messenger is next. A conversation started on the website and continued by email remains a single conversation, readable and answerable from the phone.
The app is intended for existing Metaventus accounts: it does not allow an account to be created, and therefore assumes a prior subscription on the platform. Sign-in supports two-factor authentication, which is mandatory for administration roles. It requires iOS 17 or later; an Android version is planned.
The app is free and included in the subscription, at no extra cost. It is available today on the App Store.
Statement
« A phone system that stops at the office door only does half the job. We wanted someone on the move to have exactly what sits in front of them at their desk: their business number, their contacts, and their customers' conversations — not a reduced version of it. »
About Metaventus
Metaventus is a business suite published by VENTUS SAS, a French company founded in 2022 and based in Mont-Saint-Aignan, Normandy. The platform brings eight business hubs together — CRM, telephony, marketing, appointments, sales, customer service, automation and content — on a single database, which removes exports and synchronisation between tools. Artificial intelligence is not a layer added on top: one microservice is devoted entirely to it, another runs the agents, and both were in the plan before the first line of code. Data is hosted in the European Union. VENTUS also publishes SMS Meeting, an appointment reminder SMS service whose story begins in 2018.
